Peter Illmann, born 1959 in Dortmund, Germany, is a celebrated radio and television moderator and actor. He rose to prominence hosting ARD's "Formel Eins" (1983-1984), pioneering music videos on German TV, and later "P.I.T. – Peter-Illmann-Treff" on ZDF. Known as a cult moderator, his name is synonymous with 80s pop and rock music. He released the "Private Collection" CD and the book "Kult war nicht geplant".
