Peter Lehel

Born saxophonist Peter Lehel blends classical composition with modern jazz improvisation. Known for his quartets and big band work, he’s collaborated with Barbara Dennerlein, Sabine Meyer, and Paquito d’Rivera. Leader of several groups and founder of Baden-Württemberg’s Jazz Ensemble, he also performs with orchestras worldwide and promotes jazz to kids.
