Peter Yarrow, born in NYC, co-founded folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary. They're known for hits like "Blowin' in the Wind" and "Puff the Magic Dragon." Their music tackled social issues, including war and homelessness. The group played iconic venues, and their debut album stayed on the charts for two years. Yarrow co-wrote "Torn Between Two Lovers" and helped organize major events like the March on Washington. The trio received Emmy and Grammy nominations and inspired future music generations, becoming folk legends.
