Václav Neckář, born 1943 in Prague, is a Czech pop and rock singer-actor. Famed for his dramatic chanson style and stage presence, he starred in the Oscar-winning film "Closely Watched Trains." A member of Golden Kids, he later formed Bacily. Hits include "Půlnoční" and "Stín katedrál." He earned a platinum record for "Mezi svými" and entered the Czech Radio Hall of Fame.
