Born and raised in Calgary, Bella White blends Appalachian folk, country and bluegrass with modern Americana. Her albums Just Like Leaving (2020) and Among Other Things (2023) drew acclaim, and her songs appear in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.

PineCone

PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, originated in Raleigh, NC, in 1984. Founded by Wayne and Margaret Martin, Ron Raxter, and Beverly Young, it preserves, presents, and promotes traditional folk music and dance, including bluegrass and old-time. Known for its concert series, jams, workshops, youth programs, and the Raleigh Wide Open festival, PineCone celebrates roots music.
