The Steel Wheels are a folk rock band from Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. Formed 20 years ago, they’ve released nine studio albums. Their 20th-anniversary self-titled record was produced by D. James Goodwin and includes “Easy,” “Go Back,” and “Keep On Dancing.”

PineCone

PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, originated in Raleigh, NC, in 1984. Founded by Wayne and Margaret Martin, Ron Raxter, and Beverly Young, it preserves, presents, and promotes traditional folk music and dance, including bluegrass and old-time. Known for its concert series, jams, workshops, youth programs, and the Raleigh Wide Open festival, PineCone celebrates roots music.
