Appalachian Road Show is an award-winning acoustic band celebrating Appalachian life. Their sophomore album Tribulation was followed by Jubilation, introduced by Dolly Parton and featuring covers of Bob Dylan, Pokey LaFarge and Led Zeppelin.

PineCone

PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, originated in Raleigh, NC, in 1984. Founded by Wayne and Margaret Martin, Ron Raxter, and Beverly Young, it preserves, presents, and promotes traditional folk music and dance, including bluegrass and old-time. Known for its concert series, jams, workshops, youth programs, and the Raleigh Wide Open festival, PineCone celebrates roots music.
