Willie Watson is a folk/Americana musician with 30 years as a pro, best known as a founding member of Old Crow Medicine Show. A staple of the folk circuit, he released his self-titled debut of original songs, sung in a rural tenor.

PineCone

PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, originated in Raleigh, NC, in 1984. Founded by Wayne and Margaret Martin, Ron Raxter, and Beverly Young, it preserves, presents, and promotes traditional folk music and dance, including bluegrass and old-time. Known for its concert series, jams, workshops, youth programs, and the Raleigh Wide Open festival, PineCone celebrates roots music.
