Alabama-bred siblings Laura Rogers and Lydia Slagle form The Secret Sisters, known for spellbinding harmonies and country-folk. Since their 2010 self-titled debut, they’ve explored life, love, and womanhood across five full-length albums.

PineCone

PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, originated in Raleigh, NC, in 1984. Founded by Wayne and Margaret Martin, Ron Raxter, and Beverly Young, it preserves, presents, and promotes traditional folk music and dance, including bluegrass and old-time. Known for its concert series, jams, workshops, youth programs, and the Raleigh Wide Open festival, PineCone celebrates roots music.
