Mandisi Dyantyis, born in Gqeberha, South Africa, is a renowned trumpeter, vocalist, and composer. He masterfully fuses jazz, gospel, and African traditional music, known for his powerful storytelling and emotive performances. His acclaimed albums include Somandla, Cwaka, and Intlambululo: Ukuhlambulula. Dyantyis has garnered SAMA awards and NAACP nominations, and collaborated with Abdullah Ibrahim's Big Band.
