Pligten Kalder is a Danish music group, formed in 2007, featuring Johan Olsen (Magtens Korridorer) and Torben Steno. They craft original and "fearful" Danish music, blending rock, chanson, and poppoesi. Their distinctive sound, often described as "Trist og Selvsmagende," utilizes an elastic-driven Optigan organ. They are known for serious, dark songs with poetic humor, creating magical and comical moments. Notable albums include "Du Skulle Have Været Der Igår!" and "Til Afståelse".
