Polyphia is an American instrumental progressive rock band formed in 2010 in Plano, Texas. The group consists of guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage, bassist Clay Gober, and drummer Clay Aeschliman. They gained widespread recognition after their track "Impassion" went viral on YouTube, leading to their crowdfunding-backed debut album Muse (2014) and subsequent signing with Equal Vision Records. Their later releases, including the acclaimed album New Levels New Devils (2018) and the commercial breakthrough Remember That You Will Die (2022), are celebrated for pushing the boundaries of instrumental rock through complex techniques and high-profile collaborations.
