Primus and MonoNeon

MonoNeon, a Memphis-born bassist and singer-songwriter, caught Prince's attention with his eclectic style in 2014. Last bassist hired by Prince, he performed and recorded with him, including the track "RUFF ENUFF" at Paisley Park. Known for his creative and colorful artistry, MonoNeon remains a unique figure in the music industry.

Primus, formed in El Sobrante, CA in 1984 and led by bassist Les Claypool, blends art-rock, funk, and heavy metal with humor. Known for albums like "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" and hits like "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver," they achieved pop stardom with a unique, experimental style. Their work features collaborations with artists like Tom Morello and Metallica's James Hetfield. Notable albums include "Pork Soda," "Tales from the Punchbowl," and "The Desaturating Seven." Primus remains active, with Claypool as a constant member, despite lineup changes over the years.
