Pulsar Trio and In Stereo

Formed in 2007 after meeting in Potsdam and connecting in Kolkata, this trio experiments with sitar, piano and drums. Matyas Wolter (sitar), Beate Wein (piano) and Aaron Christ (drums) blend daring, playful sounds.

Blending Indian raga, jazz, and progressive beats, their distinctive sound shines on albums such as We Smell in Stereo and Zoo of Songs. They won the 2014 Creole Global Music Award.
