DJ Franzen is an American DJ, radio host, and music personality who grew up in San Francisco, California and later relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. He began his career in the early 1990s as an intern and on-air personality at the legendary Bay Area radio station 106.1 KMEL. Renowned for introducing listeners to future hip-hop and R&B icons like Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, and Drake, he established highly rated radio shows in both the Bay Area and Las Vegas.
