RAAHiiM and Essosa

Essosa, born Joy Aiseosa Bakare, is a British-Canadian singer from East London with Nigerian roots, raised in Toronto. She blends 90s and 2000s R&B with pop, known for melodic, introspective songwriting. Her viral hit "Waste My Time" led to an Atlantic Records deal. Essosa has released EPs including "Dreamworld", "Essie's World", and "Crush!". She has collaborated with Kaytranada and received co-signs from Missy Elliott, recognized for her captivating sound.
