Known for his literate country songwriting, his debut album "Del Rio, Texas, 1959" featured hits like "Just Call Me Lonesome." Foster explored pop, rock, and classic R&B in later works. He collaborated with Bill Lloyd and performed in Kristian Bush's musical "Troubadour."
