Random Hand

Lightyear is a seven-piece British ska punk band from Derby, England, formed in 1997. Known for their energetic live shows, they blend ska punk with funk, indie-rock, and hip-hop. After releasing two albums and a hiatus, the band reformed in 2017 and is currently working on new music, maintaining their infamous presence in the UK ska punk scene.

Random Hand, hailing from the UK, is renowned for their intense ska-punk-metal sound. Known for relentless touring with bands like Less Than Jake, they’ve played at major festivals such as Reading and Leeds, and celebrated their 1000th show in 2011. The band was nominated for the AIM award for 'Hardest Working Band,' finishing second to Frank Turner. They’ve also recorded three sessions for BBC Radio 1.
