Guitarist Mike Zito, born in St. Louis, MO, is known for blues-rock style. He earned Song of the Year at the 2010 Blues Music Awards for "Pearl River" and formed Royal Southern Brotherhood. His album "First Class Life" topped Billboard's Blues Chart. Collaborated with Sonny Landreth and Joe Bonamassa.
Born in New York and raised in Miami, blues guitarist Albert Castiglia worked with Junior Wells and launched a solo career with hits like “Big Dog.” He's known for energetic live shows and albums like “Masterpiece,” which hit #2 on Billboard's Blues chart.
Minnesota-born Charlie Parr is a prolific folk guitarist and songwriter. With 19 albums in 20 years and 275 shows annually, his raw blues-folk style and poetic lyrics are showcased in works like "Last of Better Days Ahead" with Smithsonian Folkways. Known for his masterful guitar skills and authentic storytelling, Parr remains a significant figure in traditional music.
The Commoners are a Toronto-based 5-piece Modern Blues/Roots rock band known for high-energy riffs, soulful vocals, and rich harmonies. Influenced by Motown, Sam Cooke, and Otis Redding, they craft an authentic sound reflecting their respect for musical greats. Formed by Chris Medhurst, Ben Spiller, Ross Citrullo, and Adam Cannon, they often collaborate with organist Miles Evan Branagh.
