David Constantine Brooks, aka Mavado, is a Jamaican Dancehall artist from Kingston. Mentored by Bounty Killer, he debuted with "Real McKoy" and released "Gangsta for Life" in 2007.
Jamaican deejay Masicka, celebrated for his raw dancehall style fused with hip-hop, is renowned for his debut album "438." Featuring hits like “They Don’t Know,” Masicka won Album of the Year at both the IRIE FM and Caribbean Music Awards. Known for his deep, gritty lyrical narratives.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Aidonia, aka Sheldon Lawrence, is a deejay known for his energetic 80s-90s dancehall style. Hits like "Lolly" marked his rise, along with albums "Then and Now" & "One Voice." He leads the J.O.P. crew, winning acclaim in dancehall scenes in Jamaica and NYC.
Kingston-born Bounty Killer, a fiery '90s dancehall icon, is known for hits like "Hip-Hopera" and "Deadly Zone." He fused hardcore dancehall with hip-hop, collaborating with the Fugees, Busta Rhymes, and No Doubt. His gritty style and lyrical feuds, especially with Beenie Man, shaped his raw, socially aware sound. Grammy-nominated for *Ghetto Dictionary: The Mystery*, he remains a key figure in Jamaican music history.
