Detroit-born jazz violinist Regina Carter, known for her unique sound blending R&B, pop, and jazz, has worked with artists like Faith Evans, Mary J. Blige, and Wynton Marsalis. Celebrated tracks include "Motor City Moments" and “Reverse Thread”. Winner of a MacArthur Fellowship, she has also featured in Ken Burns' "The Civil War" soundtrack.
