LineUp

Born in Guildford, Sydney, Rick Springfield is an Australian rocker famed for "Jessie's Girl" and Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital. Popular in '80s with hits like "I've Done Everything for You" and "Don't Talk to Strangers," he mixed album rock with pop hooks. Worked with Foo Fighters on Sound City project and starred alongside Meryl Streep in Ricki & the Flash.
The Tubes, formed in Phoenix, Arizona, were known for satirical, theatrical rock shows with characters like Quay Lewd. Hits include "White Punks on Dope" and "She's a Beauty." Collaborated with Todd Rundgren and achieved success with "Completion Backwards Principle." Reunited in 1993 and continued touring, despite various breakups.
The Hooters, formed in Philadelphia by Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian, are best known for their mid-'80s hits "And We Danced" and "All You Zombies." Their rock, folk, and ska blend, featuring a distinctive melodica sound, earned them a dedicated following. Hyman and Bazilian also collaborated with Cyndi Lauper, co-writing the hit "Time After Time," and composed Joan Osborne's Grammy-nominated "One of Us." Despite a decline in popularity, they reunited for tours and continued releasing music, maintaining a legacy in rock history.
Tommy Tutone, led by Tommy Heath and Jim Keller, rose to fame with the 1981 hit "867-5309/Jenny," reaching No. 4 and earning gold status. Despite their early success, they disbanded after 1983's *National Emotion*. Heath revived the name in 1994 with *Nervous Love* and continued releases like *Tutone.rtf* in 1998.
