North Carolina country singer Luke Combs blends classic country, Southern soul, and modern R&B. His 2016 single Hurricane launched five straight Country Airplay No. 1s. CMA Best New Artist (2018), he also scored with Fast Car and Fathers & Sons.
Flatland Cavalry is a Lubbock roots-country band formed in 2012, led by vocalist/songwriter Cleto Cordero. Known for bright country ballads and gritty folk ramblers, they released Come May (2015), Humble Folks (2017), Homeland Insecurity (2019), and Welcome to Countryland (2021).
