Dublin rapper KhakiKid (Abdu Huss), an Irish-Libyan outsider, started writing at 12. Influenced by UK grime and US rap, he blends alt-rap with punk energy. His project Girl Bites Dog channels youthful angst, wit, and vulnerability.
British artist Mike Skinner is best known for The Streets. His Top 20 debut “Has It Come To This” led to Original Pirate Material, blending hip-hop with garage and house. A Grand Don’t Come For Free hit UK No.1, as “Dry Your Eyes” topped the chart.
Hak Baker is an Isle of Dogs, East End London troubadour known for poetic tales of inner-city life and an anti-genre “G-Folk” sound. Prominent black artist in alternative music; Vice said he “subverts what a British folk singer can be.”
Ellur (Ella Megan McNamara), a British indie pop singer-songwriter from Halifax, West Yorkshire, crafts soulful music with earnest lyricism. Her debut album, "At Home In My Mind," released in 2026, reached number 41 on the UK Albums Chart. Known for tracks like "Missing Kid" and "God Help Me Now," she blends Britpop nostalgia with modern indie flair. She has collaborated with Benjamin Francis Leftwich.
Formed in spring 2004 as The Libertines fell apart, Babyshambles became Pete Doherty’s outlet for poetic, chaotic rock. They released the single Killamangiro and albums Down in Albion (2005, prod. Mick Jones), Shotter’s Nation (2007) and Sequel to the Prequel (2013).
Rock’n’Roll Circus blend raw rock’n’roll with blues and country, known for improvisation-heavy shows with no setlist. They released the analog-tape debut album Reelin’ and Rollin’ (2021) and the Red Beauty video (2023).
CASisDEAD is a masked UK rap and grime artist from Tottenham, London, known for his distinctive voice, inventive lyricism, and music video directing. His style blends hip hop, grime, electro, and 80s synthwave, exploring dark, introspective themes. Popular tracks include "Pat Earrings" and "All Hallows'". His debut album, "Famous Last Words" (2023), reached top 10 in the UK. He won a Brit Award for Best Hip Hop/Rap/Grime Act in 2024. Collaborations include Giggs and Neil Tennant.
