Roger Meddows Taylor is an English musician, songwriter, and record producer who achieved international fame as the drummer and backing vocalist for the rock band Queen. Recognized for his unique sound, he was a key rhythmic and songwriting force for the band, composing at least one track on every Queen album, including hits like Radio Ga Ga and A Kind of Magic. In addition to his work with Queen, Taylor has maintained a productive solo career, releasing multiple studio albums, and formed the parallel rock band The Cross during the late 1980s.
