Cincinnati-born Roy Rogers, originally Leonard Franklin Slye, co-founded the Sons of the Pioneers and became a beloved Western movie and TV star. Known for hits like "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" and "Happy Trails," he starred in films with Dale Evans and owned the Roy Rogers restaurant chain. An icon of the singing cowboy, he influenced country music and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
