Ruby Turner

British-Jamaican R&B singer Ruby Turner, born in Montego Bay and raised in Birmingham, is known for hits like "It's Gonna Be Alright." A celebrated solo artist since the late '80s, she has collaborated with Jools Holland, Mick Jagger, and others. Turner has also starred in theater, TV, and films like Love Actually. Her song covers and originals gained acclaim, leading to her being appointed MBE in 2016.
