Guitarist Bill Frisell, born in Baltimore and raised in Denver, is renowned for his versatile, emotive sound across jazz, Americana, and pop genres. Known for his unique guitar tone, he has released over 85 albums and collaborated with artists like John Zorn, Elvis Costello, and Marianne Faithfull. Notable works include his 1985 debut "Rambler" and the acclaimed 1997 "Nashville." He has also composed soundtracks and won the Deutsche Schallplattenpreis. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Rudy Royston is a versatile drummer and percussionist known for his Jazz style. Raised in Denver, he was influenced by trumpeter Ron Miles. Royston studied at the University of Denver, then earned a Master's from Rutgers University. Collaborated with Jazz greats like Bill Frisell and Jason Moran, his notable albums include "303," "Rise of Orion," and "Flatbed Buggy."
