Moving Pictures and Rush tribute

The legacy of Rush occupies a unique, towering space in the pantheon of rock music. For over four decades, bassist/keyboardist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and the late drumming maestro Neil Peart operated not just as a band, but as a masterclass in progressive rock. Australian pub rock/R&B band Moving Pictures, formed by singer Alex Smith and writer Gary Frost. Best known for 1982 #1 hit "What About Me?" (Best Single, 1982 Countdown Awards). Debut album Days of Innocence also topped charts; later released Matinee (1983).
