Rush tribute and Moving Pictures

The legacy of Rush occupies a unique, towering space in the pantheon of rock music. For over four decades, bassist/keyboardist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and the late drumming maestro Neil Peart operated not just as a band, but as a masterclass in progressive rock. Here are some of the most prominent and respected Rush tribute bands currently on the circuit: Lotus Land, YYNOT, Sun Dogs, A Farewell to Kings (AF2K), New World Men, Moving Pictures, The Rush Experience.

Formed by Alex Smith and Gary Frost, pub rock and R&B band Moving Pictures are best known for their 1982 chart-topping power ballad What About Me?, which won Best Single at the Countdown Awards. Their debut album Days of Innocence also reached number one in Australia.
