Sam Shackleton (Sorley the Bard) is a Scottish singer-songwriter and folk artist born in Stirling. Inspired by Scotland, Ireland and the US, his 1960s folk revival-influenced sound blends country, old time, traditional, folk and blues. Holds an MSc (distinction) in Scottish Ethnology from the School of Scottish Studies.
