Sam Tompkins is a British R&B and pop singer-songwriter from Eastbourne, England. He began his music career busking on the streets of Brighton before signing with Island Records in 2019. He gained widespread recognition after his cover of Bruno Mars' "Talking to the Moon" was sampled on Jnr Choi's 2021 viral hit "To the Moon," and he released his debut studio album, Hi, My Name Is Insecure, in 2024.
