His platinum album Standing Hampton (1981) includes “There’s Only One Way to Rock.” Replaced David Lee Roth in Van Halen (1986), then formed Chickenfoot with Joe Satriani and Michael Anthony.

Loverboy

Formed in 1979 in Calgary, Alberta, Loverboy became a top ’80s North American arena rock band, scoring multi-platinum albums and hits like “Working for the Weekend.” Get Lucky won six Juno Awards, and they were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2009.
