About O2 Academy Glasgow

O2 Academy Glasgow is a 2,500-capacity music venue in Glasgow's Gorbals area, housed in the historic, Art Deco-style former New Bedford Cinema, originally a church from 1825. Following a £3 million refurbishment in 2003, it became a premier destination for major touring rock, indie, and comedy acts, offering a dynamic split-level experience for diverse live events.
