Hong Kong-born conductor Elim Chan is celebrated for her crystalline precision and expressive zeal in classical music. A trailblazer, she was the first female winner of the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition. She led the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and was named Music Director Designate of the San Francisco Symphony.
