Sharp Pins is the Chicago-based lo-fi power pop project of Kai Slater, blending 1960s rock and roll with indie sensibilities. Known for catchy songs like "Popafangout" and "Lorelei," the project has released albums such as "Radio DDR," which earned Pitchfork Best New Music, and "Balloon Balloon Balloon." Slater, also of Lifeguard, is recognized for his prolific output and DIY aesthetic, including the Hallogallo zine.

Weird Nightmare

Weird Nightmare is an indie rock project from METZ frontman Alex Edkins. Known for hooky sing-along choruses and power-pop guitar, it features Loel Campbell (drums) and Roddy Kuester (bass). The album Hoopla was co-produced with Spoon’s Jim Eno.
