Rob Ickes, born in San Francisco, is renowned for his masterful Dobro skills in bluegrass, country, and jazz. A founding member of Blue Highway, he collaborated on Grammy-winning albums with Alison Krauss and others. Ickes formed the jamgrass band Three Ring Circle and co-founded the ResoSummit in Nashville. His successful projects with Trey Hensley include the acclaimed albums World Full of Blues and Living in a Song. Recognized 13 times as best Dobro player by the International Bluegrass Music Association, he has worked with legends like Earl Scruggs and Merle Haggard.
