Tokyo-based Japanese singer-songwriter and producer Shintaro Sakamoto began his career in the rock band Yura Yura Teikoku before launching a solo career and his own label, zelone records, in 2011. Known for albums like Like A Fable and Yoo-hoo, he also collaborates internationally.

Thee Heart Tones

Thee Heart Tones are young musicians from Hawthorne, California, carrying the torch of Chicano Soul. Fronted by lead singer Jazmine Alvarado, they pair her showstopping voice with heavy downbeat ballad backings and a modern spin on soul.
