Sigur Rós

Sigur Rós, formed in 1994 in Reykjavík, are famed for their cosmic post-rock sound blending ambient electronics and Jónsi's falsetto. They gained international fame with albums like "Ágætis Byrjun" and "Kveikur," collaborating with artists like Radiohead. Known for hits like "Svefn-G-Englar," they've achieved global chart success, winning Iceland's Best Album of the Century. Their 2023 album "ÁTTA" contrasts past works with its orchestral ambiance.
