Jamaican dub artist Scientist (born Overton Brown in Kingston) rose in the ’80s for spacious, psychedelic mixes with echo and feedback. An ex–King Tubby apprentice, he engineered at Channel One, later Tuff Gong. Released 2017 albums Untouchable and Allied Dub Selection.

Sister Nancy

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Sister Nancy is a pioneering reggae artist known for 'Bam Bam' & 'One Two'. She collaborated with Yellowman, thrived under producers Winston Riley & Junjo Lawes, and impressed globally at Reggae Sunsplash. She’s famously the only woman DJ with a degree.
