Gaelic singer Julie Fowlis, raised on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, has released five studio albums including alterum. She sang theme songs for Disney Pixar’s Brave, including Touch the Sky, and earned 2015 BBC Radio 2 and Songlines award nominations.

Trail West

Trail West are a six-piece band with strong links to Scotland’s Western Highlands and Islands. Rising from a four-piece West Coast ceilidh band, they celebrated their 15th anniversary in 2025 with shows across Scotland, including two sold-out Barrowland Ballroom gigs.
