Idlewild are a Scottish alt-rock band formed in Edinburgh in 1995. They broke through with The Remote Part, featuring European hits “American English” and “You Held the World in Your Arms.” Later albums include Post Electric Blues and Interview Music.

The View are a Dundee, Scotland pop/rock band formed in 2005. They broke through with the UK Top 5 single Same Jeans and 2007’s chart-topping debut Hats Off to the Buskers. Their 2015 album Ropewalk was produced by Albert Hammond Jr.
