Formed in 1982 in California, Slayer became thrash metal giants with intense, controversial themes. Slayer's final tour concluded in 2019.
Power Trip, from Dallas, merges Hardcore, Metal, and Punk into high-energy music. Known for "Executioner's Tax," they won Best Metal Song at the 2017 Loudwire Awards and got a Grammy nod in 2020. They've toured globally, playing with Cannibal Corpse and others, becoming a mainstay in the heavy music scene.
Knocked Loose, from Louisville, are known for their relentless hardcore sound. Over a decade, visits to Coachella and Bonnaroo, and the album "You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To," they’ve won acclaim for their unyielding intensity and potential.
Formed in Venice, California, Suicidal Tendencies, led by Mike Muir, became influential in skatepunk and thrash metal. Known for "Institutionalized" and "You Can't Bring Me Down," their albums include a gold-certified "Lights, Camera, Revolution." They collaborated with Robert Trujillo and explored funk metal with Infectious Grooves. Despite lineup changes, they continued to release music and leave a lasting legacy in punk and metal scenes.
Cavalera Conspiracy, formed in 2007 by Brazilian metal icons Max and Igor Cavalera, delivers blackened thrash with hardcore punk and groove metal. Known for albums like *Inflikted* and *Blunt Force Trauma*, they reunited after a decade-long feud. Collaborations include Marc Rizzo (Soulfly) and Joe Duplantier (Gojira). Their 2023 re-recording of Sepultura's *Morbid Visions* underlines their raw, energetic style.
EXODUS, hailing from the Bay Area, are thrash metal icons known for their intense and versatile music. They've released albums like "Bonded By Blood," collaborated with Andy Sneap, and remain masters of the genre.
