Down, an American heavy metal supergroup formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1991, blends sludge, Southern, and stoner metal. Comprising members from Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, and Eyehategod, they are known for their distinct sludgy sound. Notable albums include the platinum-certified NOLA and Down III: Over the Under. Their discography also features the EPs Down IV – Part I and Part II, alongside songs like "Stone the Crow" and "Bury Me in Smoke."
