LineUp

Pop master Marshall Crenshaw, born in Detroit, mastered a timeless style, with hits like "Someday Someway." Known for playing Buddy Holly in "La Bamba," writing hits for Gin Blossoms, touring with MC5, and crafting Dewey Cox's signature song. Multiple award-winning albums reissued.
The Smithereens, hailing from New Jersey, fused heavy guitars with British pop influences to carve a niche in the '80s rock scene. Led by Pat DiNizio, known for his morose lyrics and haunting hooks, the band achieved hits like "A Girl Like You" and "Too Much Passion." Their debut album, *Especially for You*, gained traction on MTV, leading to a Capitol Records deal. Despite grunge overshadowing them, they maintained a cult following. After DiNizio's death in 2017, they continued touring. In 2019, they were inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame.
