The Chats are a pub-punk shed-rock band from Queensland, Australia. Formed in high school, they released a self-titled debut EP and Get This In Ya. Their song Smoko went viral on YouTube, and they’re known for loud, chaotic live shows.
Social Distortion is an Orange County punk band led by Mike Ness. After 15 years, they returned with the 11-song album Born to Kill, revisiting 1970s sounds. Highlights include “Born to Kill,” “Partners in Crime,” “The Way Things Were” and “Tonight.”
Formed in L.A.’s South Bay in 1978, Descendents became key figures in the Southern California punk movement after adding singer Milo Aukerman in 1980. Their early releases include the Fat EP (1981) and Milo Goes to College (1982).
