Socratic Lunch for the Sky 20-Year Anniversary Reunion Show
Socratic is an American rock band from Cranford and Linden, New Jersey, known for their unique blend of emo, indie rock, and pop punk. The band rose to prominence in the mid 2000s, recognized for their emotionally charged lyrics, piano driven arrangements, and melodic instrumentation.
Their debut full length album on Drive-Thru Records, Lunch for the Sky (2005), became a standout in the emo-pop scene. The record drew comparisons to artists like The Early November and The New Amsterdams, and was famously described by Alternative Press as Jimmy Eat World overdosed on Meat Loaf.
Now, 20 years later, Socratic is reuniting to perform Lunch for the Sky in its entirety celebrating the album's original release.
