Trenton, New Jersey native Sommore, the "Diva of Contemporary Comedy," is celebrated for her sharp wit and frank humor on societal issues. A trailblazer, she was the first female host of BET's ComicView and received the Richard Pryor Award for Comic of the Year. Her specials include "The Reign Continues" and "A Queen with No Spades." She also starred in "The Queens of Comedy" tour.
