Son Volt and Trap Karaoke

Jay Farrar spearheaded the alt-country movement with Uncle Tupelo before founding Son Volt, known for their landmark debut Trace. Blending folk, country, blues, soul, and rock, Farrar has released numerous acclaimed albums with Son Volt and as a solo artist.

Trap Karaoke, founded in New York by Jason Mowatt in 2015, revolutionized live entertainment. It transformed traditional karaoke into a high-energy, user-generated concert experience centered on trap, hip-hop, and R&B music. Known for fostering community and self-expression, it features fan performances and has seen appearances from artists like 2 Chainz and Yo Gotti. The event has garnered recognition, including a "Litty Award".
