The Oakland-based Hieroglyphics are an influential underground rap collective known for their offbeat style and classic hip-hop elements. Founded by Del tha Funkee Homosapien, the group includes Casual, Souls of Mischief, and others. Their notable works include 1998's "3rd Eye Vision" and 2013's "The Kitchen." Despite being dropped by major labels, they thrived with their own label, Hieroglyphics Imperium, and built a strong fan base through online presence and touring.
